Indusian Key is designed to keep ordinary keyboard intelligence as local as practical. This page summarizes the current production-oriented architecture and should be reviewed again whenever networked features, analytics, accounts or billing behavior materially change.
Ordinary typing and personal learning
Language-separated personal prediction learning is stored on the device. The keyboard also keeps a small, separate on-device memory of email addresses when personal learning is enabled so previously used addresses can be suggested in email fields. These addresses are not mixed into ordinary language prediction.
Language packs
Downloadable language intelligence is delivered through Indusian Technologies pack infrastructure. Pack checks and downloads can require network access. Packs are versioned and signed so updates can be verified independently of the core app.
AI, translation and transliteration
AI Writing, translation and transliteration are explicit tools. Some translation routes can use on-device components; other assistance can require network communication depending on the language and selected feature. Ordinary typing is kept distinct from these user-invoked services.
Voice typing
Voice input is enabled only for language routes that meet the current quality policy. A voice feature can rely on Android or a configured speech provider, whose own privacy practices may apply when the feature is invoked.
Diagnostics and third-party components
Android and integrated components such as Google ML Kit can process limited diagnostic or usage metadata according to their own platform and SDK behavior. Final Play Store Data Safety declarations will reflect the exact production build and enabled SDKs.
Secure fields
Indusian Key applies stricter behavior in password and other security-sensitive fields and avoids ordinary personal learning there.
